David Holder to run for state representative

David M. Holder has announced that he will seek the Republican nomination for the 116th Illinois state representative district.

Holder has served on the Randolph County board of commissioners since December 2010 and currently chairs the board.

“I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve the citizens of our county over the past nine years, and I look forward to continuing to serve our communities with a strong financial and conservative background.”

Before serving on the Randolph County Board of Commissioners, Holder served for eight years on the Sparta School Board. He is a lifelong resident of the district.
