On Tuesday, March 27, Dieterich Bank Chief Executive Officer Chuck Deters presented Dave Krause with Dieterich Bank’s 2017 Commitment to Excellence Award.

On a daily basis, Dieterich Bank operates under four fundamental core values: service-excellence, value, integrity and teamwork. Each year, Dieterich Bank employees nominate one employee who represents the best example of these core values to receive the Commitment to Excellence Award.

Krause currently serves the role of appraisal reviewer at the Red Bud location and is a great asset to the bank. During Krause’s 35-year career with the bank, he has taken on many responsibilities outside of his normal job duties. From helping push stalled cars in the drive-up to creating parade floats or shoveling snow, he is always up willing to lend a helping hand. He has even taken on the unofficial title as the bank’s “fix-it guy” amongst his co-workers. As one co-worker stated, “He is someone you can depend on, not only to assist customers but his fellow employees as well.” Dependable, work ethic and team-oriented are terms that were consistently used to describe Krause.
