Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School is teaming up with the staff of the Pierre Menard Home in Randolph County to coordinate two work days; Aug. 10 and Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
They would like to invite the community to join them in keeping our county beautiful. Examples of work include: sweeping/leaf blowing buildings and parking lots, wiping down signs near buildings and lots, washing windows and moving stones around the walkways.
Some tools will be supplied, but if anyone has gloves and an extra shovel or rake, feel free to bring them along. Volunteers do not have to stay the entire time, but COSLHS would like to know how many people are coming so they can have food and water available. Hot dogs, chips and water will be supplied.
If anyone is interested in helping, please contact the school office at 618-853-7300 or Connie Liefer through Facebook at www.facebook.com/COSLHS/ or email@example.com.
Please bring a friend and come out to make a difference at the Pierre Menard Home.
