Appointments made up the biggest part of the Dec. 14 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.

While the vast majority were reappointments, one notable appointment was that of Joseph Hackler as the Randolph County Land Resource Management director. He was appointed to a one year term expiring on Nov. 30, 2019.

The previous director, David Walter, had retired at the end of the county’s fiscal year this year on Nov. 30.

The only other new appointment was that of County Clerk Melanie Johnson to the Utility Coordination Council for a term expiring on Jan. 1, 2020. She is taking the place of former county clerk Pat Laramore on the council.
