Colonel Morrison Home in Waterloo under renovations

Colonel Morrison Home

Many people may be wondering what is happening with the Colonel Morrison home next door to the Morrison-Talbott Library in Waterloo.
The library owns the home, and is currently working on renovating it in order to open it up for public use once again. The building overall has been kept in good repair; however, there are some items which need attention. The library plans to work on the building in phases.
The first phase will include preparing the first floor for occupancy. Priority one will be to install a new restroom facility to replace the existing restroom. The library is working with a local architect on this project and on other needs to prepare the building for public use.
