Red Bud Police Chief John Brittingham would like to let residents know that there has been an update to the city’s notification system.
He noted that Notify Plus is a service that the City of Red Bud provides free of charge to inform residents of emergencies, community events and general notifications. The city has decided to offer a new option in receiving notifications.
Residents may choose between the two options – they can choose either text messages or voice messages. Please note that the text option is not available for landlines.
Those that currently are signed up for Notify Plus and would like to receive text messages instead of the current voice message option will need to fill out a new form and send it to city hall.
